Edinburgh police said a man fell from a scaffold on Tuesday morning, one man died and the other was seriously injured. 

According to a press release from the Edinburgh Police Department, at about 9:30 a.m., the Edinburgh Police responded to the 1200 block of Guangdong East Road, saying that two men fell off the scaffold while working in a building that was being renovated. 

When the police arrived, they found a 45-year-old man died on the spot and a 51-year-old man was seriously injured. 

The 51-year-old man was taken to a local hospital. 

The police stated that OSHA had been notified. 

The identities of these people will be disclosed before the immediate family members are notified. 

The investigation is ongoing.
